Pros: -The lobby is nice and trendy. -Beautiful set up at breakfast buffet -fast and free wifi -friendly staff Cons: -Hotel rooms are old and cheaply furnished. There was a moldy/stale scent in the room which the staff tried to address when we complained, but the smell remained. They told us we could switch rooms but the other room smelled...

I was invited to stay at QT as part of a group of people going to Port Douglas for an event. As other reviewers have noted, it isn't a new hotel, but in the common areas (excluding the pool) in particular, there has been effort made to modernise it. The colour schemes are bright and in fitting with the Port...

The swimming pool and tennis courts are great. There is also a pool and table tennis recreation area.. The buffet at Bazaar restaurant is to die for...really really good, and...

The entrance to QT is impressive and so are the common dining areas but sadly, the rest of the resort (including the rooms) is in desperate need of a makeover. The pool area is fun but old and tatty, all the sun lounges are filthy and it's clear that they aren't maintained regularly. There were dirty glasses by the pool...

We decided to visit Port Douglas after seeing a scoopon deal from QT, it was not cheap probably just around $40 off a day than the real price for a five night stay but with 2 for 1 breakfast it was a good deal although we only used it once (just to try it) as we stayed in a 1...

We keep coming back to QT because we love the fun beachy atmosphere, they have the best locals' deals in PD, the rooms are nice and clean, the restaurant, Bazaar, is wonderful (though we opted for Taco Tuesday in the bar this time and would recommend that too (gluten free options)), the pool is perfect for our little boy and...

It's not bad...... Photos look nicer than real life. Common area is quite nice, but rooms seem to have a funny smell. (Smells old) . Brekkie not included even we paid >$200 for any place like this . Pool looks nice....... It's not a bad choice.... Probably won't come back because we think it's not so value for money.

We spent 6 nights at the QT, leaving March 29th and I'd go back in a heartbeat! Everything from the location, setting, facilities, Bazaar for breakfast and the pool, oh the pool, was perfect for us.
