Just loved staying at the Colonial Rose. The rooms are cleaned to perfection and has wonderful family service. The grounds are clean and tidy and the pool is so refreshing. Lovely firm beds, Love the room service. Felt very spoilt here

Only stayed here for one night and this motel exceeded all my expectations. Room was excellent. Well done. Have even booked another stay for December for 5 nights..I definitely would recommend this motel.

I had the opportunity to stay at the Colonial Rose overnight for a conference and i was totally surprised by the friendly atmosphere that the family owned motel provided. Had a one night stop at Colonial Rose on our way up the East coast. Very clean room, albeit basic, but with a huge comfy bed and great shower over the jacuzzi bath. Quiet A/C which was a bonus compared to some we have encountered en route. David and Emma are so friendly and have great concern for their guests....

I spent 18 days at The Colonial Rose motel during August and i could not recommend the accommodation and restaurant more highly. Dave, Emma and their family run a great business with genuine friendly service and the best restaurant in Townsville. Russell

Best king size bed on the Bruce Highway!Not a modern motel but super clean and great for a sleepover enroute.Easy to find on way in from the south,bit more complicated if coming in from north,turn on the GPS!

Well priced Motel very comfortable bed, big shower , great water pressure free WIFI can self cater Friendly staff on the main highway through town. Great if your just passing through Townsville Certainly recommend

On our very regular trips to Townsville we always stay at Colonial Rose Motel. Emma and David really go out of their way to make your stay a pleasant experience. The position is handy to everything with a supermarket just a short walk away. There is a restaurant on site with room service available. This is definitely our go to...

Stayed here for quick business trip and cannot fault the place - great staff, easy to talk to - nothing to hard for them to fix ( even flat beer !! ). Thanks Emma and David and kids.. I would highly recommend and the Beer battered chips are to die for with the Steak Sandwich. Dont leave town without trying...

Chosen as a budget stop in transit. Lovely relaxed welcome. Helpful with information. Efficient introduction. Close by eating explained an easy walking distance. Rooms spotless with every convenience and spacious. limited free wifi but sufficient for me to do a good review. Easy access to town and strand by car. Didn't try food bu am so impressed with the organisation...
