Golden Beach, Australia

We had an overnight stay here recently on our trip from Cairns down to the Sunshine Coast. We stayed in a Unit which was very clean, the bed comfy and the Park was very spacious and well maintained. Graham and Janelle made us feel welcome and we wouldn't hesistate booking in there if we were travelling in that area again.

or it's the end of season. A very "ordinary" place though very clean amenities, It's a huge park but very empty & lonely @ this time of year. I think there were only permanents left & my partner mistakenly thought it was near the beach. You need to wear thick-soled thongs as the prickles in the nonexistent grass (I know...

It is the end of our season and most of our southern visitors have returned home. We have the largest sites in north Queensland and are spread out over 55 acres. Most visitors love the large sites and not being hemmed in by near neighbours. Townsville is in the grips of a very severe drought and we are on strict...

Don't try to book in at 4:30pm on a public holiday. Office not open and door locked. No access to the park. Great way to run a business for travellers on the move. Do we drove on and booked in somewhere else

I'm sorry we missed your booking. Should you have rung the after hours bell or the after hours phone number, you would have been attended to immediately. Our office is open 7 days a week and we always attend to bookings after hours - even at 2.30 am. We provide a secure boom gated access for the safety of our...

Lovely friendly park! Great value for money. Lovely clean renovated bathrooms near pool. Massive sites can fit large motorhomes, boats and 4wds. Great cabins. PET FRIENDLY! Great camp kitchen with tv, bbqs, hot water and even a camp fire. Several beaches in the vicinity, medical centre and petrol station down the road and groceries just down the hwy.

Thank you Adam for your review. We have 55 acres so there is no need for our guests to be cramped on to small sites. Most people are amazed by the size of the park and the sites. Perfect for a family with plenty of room for the children to play. Safe travels with you lovely family.

I stayed here during a world record attempt rickshaw ride, and found it to be a friendly, welcoming and very comfortable stay! The cabin I was in was fully self contained and had excellent airconditioning, so welcome after a long day on the road! With little acccommodation on this stretch of road, Bluewater is an excellent option to break up...

We found this wonderful park by chance. We booked in for a week but stayed longer. While we were there we had family for a bar-b-que around the fire pit. We grew from 2 to 12. We had a great time. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and welcomed our family as they did us and our dog....
