The sand island with its natural beauty are unbeatable places to see like Lake McKenzie, Eli Creek the Maheno wreck, the pristine long sandy beaches and sand dunes and watching the sun set over the ocean

Could have been an amazing experience but unfortunately spoiled by rude reception staff both on mainland and in resort. Check in process a nightmare, staff tried blaming me that my room wasn't ready, staff just walk away and ignore you when you approach the desk... 1 star service and organisational skills. Thankfully the staff around the rest of the resort...

Absolutely loved villa 601. Was above our expectations. Breakfast buffet was a little disappointing minimal flavour and tasted watery. We took our 4wd and visited all of the beauty spots oursleves absolutely beautiful. We were sad to leave.

All activities (which are limited) cost a fortune. Some amenities didn't work properly. Staff were friendly though and overall resort is quite beautiful. Not worth taking vehicle if staying at the resort.

Beautiful location, tired rooms, poor cleaning, over priced drinks, very average food.... Accommodation: - door locks that don't work. - towels from last visitor on floor behind door. - stained bedding. - used pillows stuffed back into cupboard. - cockroaches. - insufficient parking for number of rooms. Meals: - not too bad really but corners cut in terms of quality........

The resort has a bit of a Jurassic Park feel when you arrive - the resort public areas are spacious and pretty pleasant to spend time. This wasn't kids holiday time but the pool was still pretty busy with them - which I've no problem with - but just not where I'd want to spend my time. The 'villa' we...

We were looking forward to staying here as we had read good reviews. Checked in to our lovely but dated one bedroom loft villa. Discovered no towels in the bathrooms except for a used dirty one behind the door ? Next, the bedspread on the bed appeared to have, dare I say it? Semen stains? Or is it massage oil...

Great place to swim or laze by the pools; enjoy great food and wine; take morning or afternoon walks along the beach; then relax with a cheese platter and a cocktail and watch the sun set over the sparkling ocean.
