We stayed 2 nights. Although some complained about the daytrippers, it wasn't nearly as bad as we had feared--perhaps because it is not high season. Still, it's eerie and cool when they all leave in the late afternoon. Snorkeling was good, especially off the end of the pier. The restaurant Emeralds, while expensive, was surprisingly good for both breakfast (included)... More

Very happy that we chose to stay at Green Island Resort. With your stay, you are able to use many services and equipments such as beach umbrellas, snorkel gear including wet suits, kayaks etc. Plus when the tourist boats arrive, you can dart into the resort complex for a more serene environment. Room 17 has a more private back balcony... More

I have just returned from a night staying at beautiful Green Island Resort with my family. I am a local and have seen many changes on Green Island, but I have to say that it is still as beautiful as ever, if not more so. I believe the resort itself is one of the most underrated resorts in Australia. The... More

We had five fabulous nights on Green Island and every day we saw the endangered Green turtles. We swam with the turtles most days and snorkelled amongst an array of tropical fish and rays in a fabulous colourful coral reef just off the island. Our trips on the glass-bottom boat gave us a different view each time of the reef... More

The rooms are excellent & we felt that we were the only ones on the Island from our balcony. The Restaurant food was delicious and surprisingly well priced. Our room rate included transfers, 40 minute snorkel trip (which was top notch), glass bottom boat & buffet breakfast. So once all this was factored in it was good value. There are... More

Love the resort, love the friendly staff and love the food in the restaurant. Food was delicious with generous serving size and great atmosphere. The room package included boat transfers, buffet breakfast, equipment hire and some activities. It was well worth the money! Strongly recommended!

I was fortunate to work on Green Island during the 1980's when the resort was much smaller and far less luxurious than it is today. I was struck by the cleanliness of the water around the island, and how the resort is caring for the Island environment. We had a fabulous 4 days and 5 nites staying in accommodation that... More

My husband and I spent a night on Green Island. It was the most relaxing, peaceful and stunningly beautiful haven. The accommodation was 5 star, the staff were 1st class and our dinner that night was to die for. The restaurant service was one of the best I have experienced. Nothing was a bother for these wonderful staff. I would... More
