We had a fantastic time while honeymooning on Daydream Island. The staff were very helpful and friendly, there were heaps of activities to do and the food was pretty good too :) We loved the living reef and the staff were very knowledgeable and passionate about the animals. We learned a lot about fish that we didn't know before and... More

Our recent 6 night stay certainly wasn't what we expected as this place and could not be described as a resort. It is for tourists only and you get treated as such. The place is run down and certainly not a 4 star. Our trip from Sydney was a package deal included a $275 SPA voucher for my wife. On... More

My wife and I recently spent 5 nights here after buying a package deal online. After reading some very negative reviews of it we were a little concerned about what it would be like. However, we found it to be okay, very good in some things, poor in others. Positives: friendly staff who were always willing to assist very clean... More

Staying here for the second time currently. The first time was 13 years ago and it was excellent. This time we arrived to find a rundown, needs ripping down and restarting, hotel. Quite pathetic really. Unfortunately the one a la carte restaurant was always booked out. The price for the buffet dinner is ridiculous, $110 for two people but it's... More

Visited for a day and feeling glad we were not staying. It's old and tired. We did a guided living reef tour which was awesome but then couldn't find anywhere open for lunch at 2pm except the bakery which had one GF option (a really average looking salad). We left on the next boat and glad to see the back... More

We visited this island with another couple hoping for a quiet winter escape. We were wrong. The Island is great for families but doesn't cater for couples without children. There are no adult only areas (one if you count a room off the shared dining area). The facilities need a facelift- we felt like we were trapped an early 90's... More
