Hotel very old and tired. Lighting not the best. Breakfast average. Great location close to shops and restaurants. Tram stops out the front. Linen, towels excellent. Staff very polite and very obliging. Back of the building a bit noisy early in the morning with rubbish trucks. Very old lift that is very noisy so do not get a room near...

We booked to stay at the Ambassadors Hotel for two weeks. We arrived thinking the Hotel is going to have lots of things in it, like it's own carpark (not), swimming pool (Not), comfortable bed (not). The lift in the hotel is old fashion, where you have to open two doors with your hands and close the doors behind you,...

Checked in around mid evening. Couldn't tell whether it was a wine bar, gambling joint, or massage parlour from it's outward appearance as it seems to incorporate one of each. Counter staff were friendly, rooms pretty filthy, internet non-existent. Parking is a fair way away if you have trouble walking. Breakfast, although included, is a couple of cheap loaf slices...

Very old worn out hotel. Elevator looks dangerous as it is very old.. I was scared for my kids going in and out of it. we stayed in 104 and the way to the room has a couple of staircases so we needed to manually lift the pram up through every steps.. And when we reached the room, it has...

Our first mistake was setting foot in this old filthy place for our 20th wedding anniversary night. There were so many signs that this joint was utterly dodgey but as it was late in the day and we had failed to book anywhere else, we stupidly STUPIDLY checked in. Muck on the entrance floor, (food and drink and who knows...

Disgusting and filthy first room. Moved to a second room and whilst slightly better, it was still a well and truly below average room. When we made a reasonable complaint about the conditions of the room and wanted a refund for the second night that we did not use, they would not give it to us. Do not go here...

Definitely an old building. Room smelled old and decor was old looking and definitely in need of some care and attention especially the carpet. Room was warm with no effective air con or fan. I wouldn't want to use hotel in hot summer. Was an experience and will not return.

Yes first impressions do count. My traveling partner wanted to walk down the street to see if we could find somewhere else to stay. As it was late, and we had only just arrived in Adelaide all i wanted to do was get to my room and sleep. Well to get to the rooms you had to go up an...

Very basic room, corridors smelled of cigarette smoke from the bar downstairs. Asked for twin beds, got double bed. On arrival had to pay for my 4-night stay in advance, plus $100 bond. They refused to accept AMEX despite having AMEX as an option on the Booking.com website. After the receptionist unable to make any concession, I asked to see...

Presents like a re-decorated doss-house. My room at the back was very noisy from the bar staff emptying bottles into the skip with regular frequency up till just after midnight. Garbage trucks then took over in the early hours. Tea-making area and 'wardrobe' crudely constructed out of badly painted chipboard. Didn't stay for breakfast - couldn't get out of there...
