I stayed at the O'Connell Inn for three nights on one of their busiest weekends (Adele concert, Fringe Festival, WOMAD and a public holiday), but while the staff were very busy, they were extremely friendly and efficient, and nothing was too much trouble. Jo was particularly helpful when I had an issue getting my concert ticket, and was able to...

We had a comfortable room with all amenities, nice bed, clean linen, modern. Easy to find, parking underneath the hotel a great plus in the city. Restaurants within easy walking distance. The staff were professional and friendly.

First impressions were not great. On arriving in the room, I noticed that one of the drinking glasses was dirty and some of the towels in the bathroom didn’t look exactly fresh, which – along with the slightly musty smell in the room – gave me the impression that the room hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly. The bed sagged terribly in...

I stayed here for one night and can really recommend this hotel for a few nights in Adelaide. It is really close to the city center, only a 5 mins drive by taxi. Rooms are spacious and clean with very new bathrooms. The beds had seen better times though. But overall very good value for money.

OK but nothing special. We chose this hotel as it had good reviews and were very disappointed with our stay. The room was grubby, the sofas were awful.Badly marked and dirty. No hot water for showers or shave each morning . Bed was extremely uncomfortable .Reception was unattended on arrival and at many other times. We like the location as...

Stayed 2 nights in this hotel, I have stayed here before in a room at the back of the hotel, very quiet. This time we had an executive suite on the front of the hotel. I was a bit apprehensive about staying at the front of the hotel due to the busy road outside. No need to worry double glazing...

A small motel but a comfortable one. We stayed overnight for business, the rooms were comfortable, furnishings were a little dated but a lovely up to date bathroom. An affordable hotel for the budget conscious close to great restaurants and not that far from the city or Adelaide oval. Public transport easily available. Limited car parking out the back, a...

Great spot in North Adelaide. The room was older but clean and tidy. Bathroom was more updated. There is some undercover carparking available. Good place to stay for convenience. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Booked in Saturday night at 7.30pm, with reception hours closing at 8pm. We had a room away from the traffic so noise was not a problem. Room was clean and functional and a good size; neat, but no frills. Nice decor and a gorgeous shower. Great location in the heart of North Adelaide right next to the cinema. Plenty of...
