A late night decision was made to visit the Conservation Centre in Adelaide. A friend suggested the best place to stay would be at the YHA in Waymouth street only a few metres away. I Google Earth checked it out ...YHA looked ideal. I could see the very convenient car-park and one way street as described. Fantastic! I phoned front...

This is the first hostel I have been too, where when overbooked we were given a trundle, and not just any trundle, the best trundle a man could ask for. And I know my trundles, even once there was space I voluntarily would pull out the trundle each night and go to bed with big smile on my face. Leaving...

Staff were friendly and it is in a good location. Bit of a let down after seeing the YHA hostels in Sydney and Melbourne. People staying there were unfriendly and no one showed any interest in meeting new people. Also a lot of old people staying here. Definitely not what I was expecting. Also, in all of the bathrooms there...

Bathrooms were cleaned on a regular basis, which I liked very much given that I'm really particular about communal toilets and showers. The common area and silent/reading room was cool too! Also, I wasn't able to try but my roommate said their (free!) pancakes for breakfast was good.

The YHA is prefect for people on a budget. It is close to buses, trams, train station, shops, casino, cinema, art gallery and museum. The staff are friendly, helpful and informative. They can help you book tours if required. The hostel has conference room, lift, kitchen, bathrooms, showers and common room. There is free wi fi in the reception area....

I really enjoyed my stay here. Met some really good friends too. The hostel is a bit pricy but it was worth the money. The kitchen is awesome and the rooms and everything else was very comfortable and clean. I got nothing to complain about.
