My sister and I slept here twice. Once going up from Adelaide to Uluru and once going down again. I like it insect free and I like it when you can shower bare footed without thinking if you will get filthy feat of it. So sanitary was spotless. I would only put a soapdispenser there and paper towelbox, but it's...

I went to the outback twice and each time stayed at Riba's. I enjoy the underground camping as it keeps you cool during the day and protects you from the wind, cold and the flies at night. Riba's has all the facilities to prepare food, inducing a stove but you you must bring your own pans. It has a common...

We wanted to stay two nights in this place, to enjoy the cold air of a mine. we made the tour, it was really interesting. But during the night, so many mozzies (white light all night underground) that i finished my night in my car (cold as underground) and my girlfriend's face was biten by a mozzie and she was...

We stayed in camper trailer a an unpowered site, on gravel, which was soft enough underneath for us to put our tent pegs in. The sites were surrounded on 3 sides by high wire fences, there was just enough space for us to it in, and it was cool having our own little pen. There were covered sites for vans...

We had fun staying underground, our girls kept saying we were sleeping in a cave.😊 It was exciting to see tents that had been set up underground and if we were staying for more than one night we would have camped that way. Maybe next time!

Could have stayed longer. We loved the uniqueness of Coober Pedy. It's a weird quirky eclectic collection of everything adventurous about Australia. Did the mine tour with the owner, its a must do. If you've not been to Coober Pedy, then do it.

Stayed here twice on our return trip along the Stuart highway. First visit we did the mine tour which was enjoyable, Rick was a fun and informative guide. Amenities were clean but basic and they had free wifi available in the underground tv room. Camping in the underground area was a novel experience. We have a 3 man tunnel tent...

We stayed in a budget room which was just that. It was value for money at $66 for couples, however I thought it was perhaps a little pricey for my sister and family of 4 at $116 for the same size room. Although more bedding is required and this needs to be compensated for, just thought the price difference was...

Rang from Uluru, asked to book, said I will be 7.5-8 hours, lady on the phone said, I quote, 'no need to book, just turn up'. I said ok. So I arrived and was told I didn't book, so no room available. No underground for camping, nothing. Thanks for putting my family with young kids out in the cold for...

The underground camping was good fun for something different. Our daughter loved it. Unfortunately for us it was very very noisy with people talking late, someone snoring next door and a very noisy squeaky mattress! The flooring is gravel so noisy when people walking around. On the up side the owners are lovely, ablutions old but nice and clean, free...
