The room was clean and spacious with all the comfort. The acoustic in the room is very special and different due to the dugout. Breakfast was simple but totally efficient. It was a cute experience sleeping underground.

I was in a single room, not a suite, and it was perfect. I have just returned from two months touring Australia with friends and this is one of my favorite experiences. The room, #6 I think, was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The community kitchen next door was stocked with breakfast items making it easy to have breakfast there...

My husband and I stayed at the Underground Motel last night. We were welcomed by name as this is the third time our family has stayed at the Motel in 3 months. The room was clean, well equipped and had some fruit and a continental breakfast supplied. The bed was comfortable and we had a small lounge and kitchenette provided....

This motel is the best I've been to!! The rooms were spacious and nicely furnished. There is free wifi 24/7 and the hosts were extremely helpful. It's in a lovely spot right outside of town, but you can't here the road noise. I would definitely come again.

Great underground hotel nice high ceilings so you don't feel claustrophobic. Very clean - wasn't too much trouble to put extra beds on the floor so our family of 5 could stay in one room. Free contential breakfast in the morning with a kitchen free to use for all at any time. Would definitely stay here again.

The Underground Motel is a lovely clean and very impressive set up. The view and sunset you can enjoy from the front verandah is wonderful. Hosts are very friendly and warm people. Highly recommend and great value. The rooms were cooled by a ceiling fan and that is all you need, the underground environment kept the temperature down.

We have stayed at the Underground Motel twice now, both times on our way back from our adventure through the Simpson desert. Both times the rooms are clean and staff welcoming and have had everything we have needed. The whole underground experience is exciting and the kids love the feeling of being underground! We look forward to staying there again...

Travelling up the Stuart highway we only stayed one night, big mistake, we didn't realise there is so much to see in Coober Pedy. Mike and Merce told us the best places to go and where to get the best prices. The motel is situated on the edge of town ( which isn't very big anyway) so is nice and...
