Found cabin 13 in a time warp, with no aircon, furniture in a poor state all in all vert poor value and most disappointing. The resturant and pool were of a good standard and the cabins on either side of 13 had aircon and larger decks.

We had high hopes for White Sands Resort. Located on the east coast of Tasmania south of St Helens, the outlook is lovely and the main reception building is impressive. Check in was smooth, but the room was disappointing. Tiles throughout the unit made the floor ice cold-freezing even though it was January. The room was tired as if nothing...

We staid here a few weeks ago mid week. It wasn't over crowded and the pool was mostly empty. The views were amazing from our freshly renovated unit with a huge deck out front to take in the rays (we could have done with a shade cloth overhead. We thought the meals in the restaurant could have been better and...

Our second year in a row for a family holiday - and will return again. The friendly & professional staff, the comfortable & spacious unit along with a clean large pool, cafe/restaurant, kayaking, beach, cinema & tennis all contributed to our very relaxed holiday.

Last weekend I attended the most beautiful beach wedding. The scenery was amazing and the day was perfect but for a slight wind. The staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive. The accommodations were comfortable although the shower did leak a bit. We ate in the restaurant on the Friday night and it was a very nice meal. We had...

So many things to keep kids amused from the pool to the beach, games room, tennis, kayaking, movie theatre and riding their scooters throughout the complex. Beautiful area to go for a drive to nearby beaches, cafes and shops. The rooms are clean, basic but comfortable.

We stayed for 5 nights in this January school holidays and once again were not disappointed. We appreciate the beautiful beaches with NO dogs, we love animals and have pets but our children especially feel threaten by dogs running free on so many of our beaches, this is not the case at White Sands - the beach is very clean,...

Our first stop whilst visiting the East Coast of Tasmania. Reminded us of an American summer camp. Large cabins overlooking the beach. Not really for couples but nice anyway. Some cabins have been renovated. On another point the on site restaurant open for lunch and dinner was super. With a brewery on site, Ironhouse Brewery made our stay a little...

The restaurant here is light and spacious with outstanding views up the East Coast to Falmouth, Scamander and beyond. I have had four meals here in the past few months and they have all been delicious. Be sure to taste the in-house beers and wines. While I was very pleased to see that the menu had been changed recently I...

A stunning location with a great beach and facilities. Would like to see the resort offering picnic food to take away as limited options to buy food unless you drive to Scamander. Highly recommend for a short holiday break.
