The staff at Gowrie Park were helpful and friendly. Staying in the backpacker accommodation was comfortable with accessible parking and clean linen. The kitchen facilities were also clean and the place had a relaxed, quiet feel: perfect after a day of hiking around Cradle Mountain! Things to hear in mind: -Travellers need to bring groceries with them as there are...

Stayed for 2 nights in our motor home & would loved to have stayed longer. The best amenities we have ever had, friendly helpful owners, amazing mountain views & walking tracks & just to cap it off a great meal at the Black Stump Restaurant just a short walk away. Can't wait to return.

The rooms are just big enough for 2 people. Kitchen is small but has everything you need. Shower/toilet block is very cold. $35 a night for the bed is reasonable however you have to pay for your shower on top of that which I feel is a little unreasonable. $1 a minute. I would have rated higher except the room...

A great place to stay if visiting Cradle Mountain about a 40 min drive. The park is pleasant, and has great views of Mount Roland. the Kitchen is clean and tidy although we found had to line up to do our dishes. toilet/Showers are clean and tidy. We camped down by the road, which had very little traffic after about...

Spent 2 glorious nights at the 2 bunks room. Extremely clean and comfy beds. Owners and staff were very friendly and made our experience memorable. We highly recommend. The mountains around are equally stunning as Cradle Mountain!

Comfortable and friendly. Lots of habitat nearby for hiking and birding. Excellent restaurant close by. Lodging includes both cabins and bunk rooms. Caretakers were exceptionally friendly and helpful when I needed to get connected to the local phone system which turned out to be so tricky when you are not local!

We stayed here recently the cabin was clean and had plenty of storage. I didnt give this place a higher rating due to inadequate heating. Absolutely freezing! The staff were lovely but i thought $150 was quite steep considering how cold the cabin was, the heater doesn't have a fan and does not suit the conditions.

Went to the Old Black Stump Restaraunt on a Saturday and it was amazing! Great service, beautiful food! The Restaraunt is in the Gowrie Park Wilderness Village and is worth visiting even if you're only passing through! :) 10/10 will definitely visit again and would recommend to anyone

We brought our 8M caravan to Gowrie Park village and stayed 2 weeks. The park is set at the base of Mt Roland, and handy for doing day trips out of here. The Park also has cabins, backpacker accommodation, and a separate restaurant. The owners are very helpful and modernising the place. From the park, you can do the walks...

Nothing fancy about this place, but it was a brilliant stay! We stayed in our campervan and loved being so close to the national park. The bathrooms were very clean and well equipped. The staff were extremely friendly, and we made use of their fire pots for rent which gave us some much needed warmth and a chance to sit...
