Stayed her for 7 nights and found it needs a revamp. The restaurants are ok for breakfast but not a great deal to choose from, we ate out of the Casino for dinner. The poker machines are a big attracrion. If staying here you really need a car to go into Hobart as the shuttle service is limited.

Some have written that the complex is dated but I thought it was very good and I liked our room but I am a sucker for views. I have to admit that I chose WP for a chance to play some poker - I was lucky it was a Thursday because they had a game on that evening. Poker players...

The views from the Tower rooms are indeed spectacular so thank you for pointing this out. Poker is played on Wed-Thur from 6pm and Fri-Sat from 8pm so it was great to hear you were here on one of those nights. Thank you for your feedback on the HD channels, we offer a variety of Fox channels throughout the complex...

My family stayed in the motel waterview section and it wasn't worth the price. Smelly with old furnishings and to make it worse it wasn't properly cleaned. There was hair in the shower and all of the teaspoons were filthy. We chose this hotel for the pool so the kids could have a play but it was outdated too and...

Enjoyed our stay at Wrest Point and found the amenities and facilities excellent. The room was clean and comfortable with terrific views up the river from the tower. The selection of restaurants and venues mean you have a lot of options for eating. The casino facilities are split into several sections so are not obtrusive. The staff were friendly and...
