Reception Staff (Angie) greeted us with a smile, and processed our check in promptly. Set up the complimentary Internet Connection for us promptly. The Room on the 3rd Floor overlooking the Fountain was Clean, Comfortable and spacious enough. The Mini Bar was well stocked and the prices of the items very reasonable- (Yippee) great incentive to have a nibble and...

We have stayed in many places in Hobart over the years and chose Fountainside this time based on cost. It was very comfortable with a large flat screen and a good sized room. It is about a 15 minute very easy walk to Salamanca markets and the ferry terminal to MONA. One of the pluses is that they have a...

Before we went I was a bit worried about traffic noise. Silly me!!! This is Hobart ... there is no traffic even in their Peak "minute"!!!! It was a good location - on the edge of the city centre, and very easy to be on the road out of town to any direction. Hobart city was bigger than I remembered...

Located just a short walk to Salamanca Markets & Constitution Dock. Spacious room with comfortable bed, good sized bathroom and room to move. Mini bar prices were at supermarket rates - what a revelation! Reception staff were really friendly and knowledgeable.

We stayed three nights in a Superior King room on the 7th floor. Room was large with comfortable bedding, and very modern amenities, and a large TV. Mini bar pricing was reasonable as was the price for meals and breakfast. I usually avoid Mini bar but at the reasonable rates charged, we did make a few purchases. Staff were very...

We recently stayed here for four nights. The room had all the right amenities. We especially appreciated the comfortable bed, the good lighting, ample storage space (including in the bathroom) and many mirrors. The staff was helpful. Breakfast in the restaurant was very reasonably priced. The mini-bar items were priced well. Free parking, good location. Would be nice to see...

Booked this hotel after reviewing on Wotif, the outside looks very 70's but the rooms are well appointed and comfortable. We initially booked 4 nights and ended up staying 9. The staff were superb with exceptional friendly service. We ate breakfast every morning in the restaurant - great value and catered for gluten and lactose intolerances which was a rare...

spent a four night break here at the beginning of April. What a lovely hotel - very friendly and helpful staff, especially with a neurotic woman who worried that she'd miss her flight! The bedrooms were spacious and (in out king-size room) the bed was enormous. Breakfasts were great value and plentiful - far cheaper than going to look for...

Booked hotel on the basis of Tripadvisor recommendation and was somewhat dubious on first glance at exterior. Did not disappoint in terms of location, rooms and minibar (especially the value for money mini bar prices). Only point was parking was a bit tight at times but no biggie
