We stayed during five nights at the Fountainside Hotel in Hobart. The hotel is just five minutes away from the waterfront in Hobart. The room with king size bed we had on the seventh floor was very nice, the view onto Hobart, the Derwent River and the Tasman Bridge was very pleasant too. The bed was very good, the bathroom...

Location - tick. Check-in - half-tick (despite knowing there was a lot of parties due to check in there was only one person on duty at 3pm and wasting time on idle chat with each check-in partywhen there was a line of 4 parties waiting to check-in) The lift - half-tick (comes to a jarring stop each time) Clean sheets...

We chose this hotel in Hobart due to price, location, reviews and we needed a place that had free car parking. When we arrived, we were greeted by the lovely Angela. We got free wifi so that was handy. Code was given at reception. Rooms: We booked a standard room. Very roomy. Comfy bed - felt like memory type foam....

Just fabulous, on 7th floor, views spectacular. Clean rooms, ample parking. Huge tv. And the mini bar prices, cheapest I've ever seen...so reasonable. Was worried about noise as some other reviews mentioned this but being so high up couldn't hear a thing. Very modern, clean room well appointed.

Stayed on seventh floor in king room which was double glazed so no noise from traffic roundabout and very peaceful. Room was spotless, all amenities provided, bathroom had shower only but spacious including heated toilet seat. Breakfast was buffet style with full hot...

We stayed 3 nights in a top floor superior room. I would recommend this place to stay in Hobart close to the docks (500m) and cbd. Good breakfast at very reasonable price. Our room was quite spacious. This is no luxury hotel but it is clean functional with helpful staff. Everything worked. After we learned the way to drive down...
