We enjoyed an amazing week in Hobart staying at the Hotel Grand Chancellor. The room, staff and cleanliness were brilliant, and we could not fault the experience we had. We stayed in a harbour view room, and the view was exceptional, and allowed walking distance to all the city attractions and restaurants We will always stay here in future!

I was attending a conference held at the hotel. The hotel has a real luxury feel to it. The designs are a mix of vintage and modern, the rooms and bathrooms are renovated. The bed was comfortable and overall the room was nice. I would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed here several times before and chose this hotel again due to it's fantastic location, quality of the rooms, friendly staff and amazing views of the harbour. We honestly can't fault the hotel. This time we tried out indoor pool which was located on the same floor we were staying on. It was lovely and warm, clean and...

Chose Grand Chancellor by chance & were pleasantly surprised. Reservations there worked to get us a room with exquisite harbor view emailing us when successful. Staff friendly, courteous & professional. Shower bathtub was slightly narrow resulting in one grade less than excellent. Menu & breakfast buffet great! Do not miss Grand Chancellor Hobart Tasmania.

We stayed at the GC Hobart over the new year period as we do each year for the Sydney Hobart race. The hotel is perfectly positioned but is old and tired - especially the pool area which could be such an asset. Breakfast is expensive - go to the Harbour Lights cafe near Custom House - twice as good at...

Just dumb luck we booked a harbor view room for December 27. We were so delighted when we arrived to find we had a perfect view of the sailboats coming into port from the Sydney-Hobart race. If you can arrange your schedule to be there on December 27-28 you will be lucky too! It's also the Taste of Tasmania, a...

We went down for the Taste so picked the hotel for its location. We were surprised by much more. The staff was great and made our stay most comfortable and enjoyable. We would highly recommend the Tasman Restaurant where we had the best meal of the whole weekend. Thanks everyone at the Grand Chancellor
