We had a lovely dinner last week. The food was very tasty and fresh. We ordered seafood chowder and calamari for starters then steak and fish for mains. Everything perfectly cooked. We loved the ambience and live music. The F&B staff was absolutely fantastic. Thank you Brendon and Andrew for your fantastic service. We will be back one day for sure!

From the moment you check in until you check out the staff were exceptional and very friendly, had a little problem with the room and the staff went out of their way to help us out. The character and history of the hotel is second to none with a beautiful room full of character. Breakfast in the dining room was very good and a lovely choice

Everything was very good the room, breakfast, staff. The hotel has a long history nearly 200 years . Even famous movie star like Errol Flynn being there. Location was handy to many attractions. The only complaints are the coffee machine in dinning room was only warm and not hot the air-conditioning was not hot enough in my room . Overall a very good experience.

Stopped a couple of nights. The building is impressive with its interior design and history . Check in was quick we were in our rooms a short time later. On the bed was a newspaper Hadley’s Chronicle . It was full of historical articles about the hotel, it was a nice touch. Tea and coffee making facilities are inside a wooden cabinet. A bit ridiculous as there is no light to see what you are doing. The room was small but adequate. The bed was comfortable. The inclusive breakfast was continental, however if you wanted bacon scrambled eggs cappuccino etc you just had to ask the waitress . The extras do come at a cost .Great location near to everything. No parking.if you require parking it is $17.50 per day in a public car park a block away inconvenient but the hotel was built a long time ago

Friendly service from reception, exceptional service in front bar, attentive staff at breakfast, even the cleaners were genuinely kind. Lovely room, wonderful ambience and loved the newspaper on the bed. Window with a view, great price for going direct and home comforts like warmth, carpets and quietness that were as good as home. Thank goodness I moved out of the Movenpick to Hadleys!
