We ate here twice during a recent visit to Hobart. Interesting tapas type menu as well as main courses. Local beers and wines on offer. A bit pricey but worth it as it was very tasty. Definitely worth a visit.

The food is interested and yummy! We have been back many times! They have Bruny Island beer on tap also which is a bonus! The price is reasonable and the fire is toasty. Its welcoming for families as well. Great little pub

Visited here last week. Warm upon entry and with interesting decor. Menu itself was interesting with your usual pub fare plus tapas type options (ie calamari, duck tongue & arancini). Some interesting beers on tap but wine list limited. Overall okay with three of our group of six generally satisfied.

This pub is nicely understated from the front and inside it is cosy with a welcoming atmosphere. The live music and open fire added to it. There was friendly and efficient table service and while the meals weren't cheap, they were original and the best food I have had in a while.

Big cosy fire, fun music and fantastic food. The 3 of us shared a few dishes from the 3 for $33 menu. They were so good, we ordered an additional 3. The Wagyu beef by far, has been one of the most amazing dishes I have ever eaten. The dish is brought to your table raw, the chef uses a... More

Quaint Irish pub central to Hobart city. Food looked great but we had a reservation up the road. We're from Sydney where you have to line up for everything. Where else these days does the bar man notice you're almost finished and ask if you're ready for another?

This is a traditional pub but unfortunately our meals were very disappointing. I had the 'wagyu' steak which claimed to be a 9 marble score, I have had better $10 steaks at the Shamrock and Hotel Soho. The steak was quite chewy and did not taste like authentic wagyu, it lacked the umami flavour. I would have said something if... More

Roaring fire, not a pokie in sight, a very Catholic crowd across all age groups, quirky memorabilia carpeting the walls, fast friendly service from the bar & wait staff with a really good wine list & somewhat quirky food menu with some very interesting & different dishes - all cooked to perfection. Try the thinly slivered Wagyu beef strips seared... More

Spent a quiet Sunday afternoon in winter here. Service was quick & friendly, the tap list was mainly local and excellent The fire was roaring, and there was a nice vibe, especially as many other venues seemed so quiet. Live jazz/blues made it an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon.

As we arrived, the restaurant section seemed fully booked, however the friendly staff organised a table for us. The food was wonderful and they have Stone and wood pacific ale on tap which totes in my fav. Our waitress was very friendly and chatty.
