This is the second time we have stayed at St Ives Apartments, and the friendly staff are always helpful. The room was clean and fresh for our arrival. As we had a late flight out we were allowed to leave our car in the car park until we left. As St Ives is Close to Sandy Bay and Salamanca, supermarkets,bakeries,...

Conveniently located ten minutes' walk to Salamanca Place restaurants to the East and a similar distance West to Sandy Bay shopping centre. Building exterior is typical 60s/70s apartment block but the interior has been completely renovated and modernised. I stayed in a 1 bed "apartment" that was really just an oversized hotel room with a basic kitchenette. All furnishings and...

Can't complain about a thing, very comfy bed, nice bathroom, verandah, little kitchenette and nice, good service. The only complaint is the noise from next room, walls a little thin. Would definitely stay again

Great location, just a 5 min stroll to Salamanca Place....close to city and wharfs. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment located on the 3rd floor. Exceptionally clean and tidy, very well appointed, beds comfy. Great for families, nice and quiet. Bonus having a bottle shop next door ! The balcony has a great view of the bridge and river,...

The room we had on the first floor was very noisy, especially on Friday and Saturday evening when it seemed like half the population of Hobart was out on the street and shouting at each other. We live in the middle of Sydney so are used to noise, maybe we just picked the wrong weekend to stay.A good location and...

From the outside, this building looks rather tired and ordinary but the rooms are large, clean and the beds are VERY comfortable. It's walking distance to everything important (Salamanca markets, departure point for MONA and lots of good restaurants), quiet at night, has a door onto a small balcony so you can get plenty of fresh air and surprisingly upmarket...

We stayed in a Deluxe Imperial Studio room with a very comfortable King bed, large flat-screen TV, modern bathroom, kitchenette and balcony...at a very reasonable price, with great service and free parking...and only 5 mins walk to the Salamanca markets and waterfront. Free Wi-fi is a very welcome bonus - something the large hotel chains charge highly for (shame on...

Only stayed one night to attend the Salamanca Markets which were in walking distance. We were given a free unsolicited upgrade to a Superior Room which was lovely. It was so well appointed and comfortable. We arrived early and our room wasn't ready but we could leave our car in the onsite car park, we could also leave it there...
