We ( 4 people) stayed here at the end of January for 2 nights as part of a groupon deal. Being a serviced apartment meant there was no reception as such. You had to ring 10 minutes prior to arriving so someone could be there....More
Needed to visit a family member in Melbourne. Hotels in the city are hugely expensive so we opted for an apartment. Advertised as luxury apartments we were happy that they were so reasonably priced. We booked a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. We knew it...More
Booked a 2 bedroom apartment after buying a Groupon. Having read the description and seeing the photos on the website we were looking forward to a great stay. Sadly, the booking experience should have alerted us to what to expect. After 3 telephone calls and...More
Apartment: clean (ish), great view, great location on Southbank (100m to river), most of the furnishings, crockery etc were ikea. But it was quite new, better than a tiny hotel room any day.

I think when you 'check in' they already have an apartment selected for you, so you would want to request a high floor when you make your reservation. I cannot remember exactly, but it seemed this building probably had 30-50 floors in it. I know it had enough to have elevators designated for certain sections. I can probably ask my kids & they would remember how many floors! Just know that 'check in' isn't like most places. You have to let them know when you'll be there & they will meet you & that would work very smoothly. But if they don't meet you, it is rather difficult. If it isn't at a time for them to meet you, make sure you get instructions beforehand, (including where to park & which space number) then it wouldn't be so bad. You will have to stop around the side for someone to get keys & garage remote before you can park.
