A great place to stay if you are only on a short break. We had booked 2 rooms, one for my husband and I and 1 for our 15 year old daughter. When we arrived we found the rooms were on the same floor but not next to each other as expected. The plus was that you could only access...

Dear davesue2017, Thank you for your feedback on your stay with us. We were happy to accommodate you on the same floor for convenience. The apartments that have a balcony are the studio executive apartments or the studio deluxe. You may request front office to re-allocate you or upgrade to the next room type, they are always happy to assist....

I've stayed here a few times and like the location. I also like that the apartments have pretty much everything needed. The only issue is that too much is squashed into the studio apartments with no room to put luggage etc. Another small gripe is that the curtains don't fully cover the windows so rooms are very light at night....

It took 30 minutes to check-in. They only had one front desk employee working on a Friday afternoon when the hotel was fully booked. The shower door didn't close properly which flooded the bathroom floor. There where also mold spots in the shower. The bathroom light did not work and "maintenance was gone for the day" so they were not...

We had a fabulous stay with the team at Fraser Place. Murray at the front desk was especially helpful when we had a small issue with our room, we were moved right away. The room was compact, but had everything we needed with small kitchenette, cosy bed and great work space. Modern and useful furnishings, lovely decor and very clean....

Caught some F1 racing action at the recent Melbourne Grand Prix and stayed at Fraser Place Melbourne. Located in the "quiet" part of the CBD, the walk to the more "jumping" part of the area will take some getting used to. Not too bad actually. Helps you walk off your dinner or alcohol. Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
