Clean, tidy and all you need if your not spending much time in the room. The room is basic, bathroom was nothing special, but it was clean. The balcony was very small and no seating so not worth paying the extra. We were in a 1 bedroom apartment and the small kitchen was useful. Close to markets and Bourke st...

I booked 1 bedroom premium room as I was traveling with my toddler. The room in level 5 was quiet, very clean. Quite happy with it. Room wasn't as spacious as pics though. But didn't affect me. The location is perfect for everything. Will stay there again.

This is my second time I stay in this hotel. A major setback on this second stay:I arrived evening of the day I book. The next morning, I went out for a cup of coffee , I put my shoes on and decided not to wear my socks and put them on the table before I go out. When I...

There is facility to drop off your bag before check-in, in case arrive early, the receptionist service is average, the room is well designed and clean, the room facility is quite complete, there are stove, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine. I would recommend this hotel for couple but for family with active child I'm not so sure

Great location, near QV markets and all the shopping. Spacious 2 bedroom apartment with lovely outlook at maple tree. Very helpful and friendly staff. Walking distance to Lygon Street restaurants and the theatre/shows and botanical gardens. With free trams throughout the cbd, handy to everything. Loved it.

I stayed for a weekend trip to Melbourne. A flight delay meant we had to do an after hours check in, which was so simple and was a great relief. The room was beautifully presented - as was the building itself - and the space was very accomodating. The room also had everything I needed. What minor issue I did...

Firstly, please note the opening hours of the reception (it's not 24/7). Both of my friend and I must have missed that information somehow so we ended up waiting outside (about 40 minutes as ours was an early morning flight) till opening time at 8:30 a.m. It's good that the front office manager was punctual. He stored our luggage away...

Good location within walkable distance to town. However, do not recommend for long stay as street noises can be heard at night and early morning. We had bad experience with the hotel manager. We had arrived early morning and hence we deposited our luggage with the reception, and only returned to the hotel at night. The reception was closed by...

We spent two weeks in this hotel. We got to the holet in a rainy day after 18 hours flight, as the check in is at 2pm and we got there by 10am we have to wait which is normal, but the lady in the reception ask us to put our loggage in a locker and gave us a map...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
