Perfect location, beautiful rooms, blackout curtains, no noise, friendly & helpful staff, reasonable room rate - all positives. Negative - room service costs exorbitant & don't even consider renting a movie unless you have a platinum credit card. Outrageous!

My sister booked this for us for a few days and we were both delighted with the amenities and the friendly service. And the location can't be beaten! As I recall we were on the fifth floor with only a little bit of a view but we didn't mind as it was so quiet and pleasant. We walked everywhere -...

Stay here all the time when in Melbourne for business - great rooms with great space to work. The staff are always very friendly! Greta location near great restaurants and bars. Parking next door in the public car park was easy - just don't forget to get your ticket validation by reception!

We had a three night stay in a 2br apartment on the top floor (#2504). The apartment was clean, well appointed, and ready for us when we checked in. It had pretty much everything you'd expect and was pretty quiet too despite proximity to the lifts. Some ways it could have been even better: - The drains in the ensuit...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
