This is a budget motel that provides a free continental breakfast of cereal, bread, jams, orange juice, tea and coffee, milk and free parking. There is a toaster and a very sensitive smoke alarm which went off on two off our three days. There is also a small grill. In need of renovation and updating. Aircon was quiet but walls...

Great budget priced motel. Close to hospitals. Old but all you need is a place to sleep. Has microwave toaster and kettle supplies light breakfast. Free parking available on site which is a godsend. Close to CBD and transport. Quiet area.

For the price it's a good place to stay, flexible with rooms as I've had friends staying while my partners in hospital, good stock in regards to free juice, toast, cereal and friendly staff make you feel welcome------------/-///-/////-/-

This was not a good experience. Whoever cleans this place does not know what cleaning means. There was thick dirt and old bits of food down the side of the bed. Both bedding and carpets need to be replace. Pipes are noisy and you could here when showers were going and toilets flushed.

Spent only one nite at the motel. My husband and I thought it was quite a good budget motel. The room just needs a coat of paint just to freshen the room up. Room was nice and clean, bed was comfy. Very friendly atmosphere. They also have a phone in reception for a taxi if needed. You get continental breakfast...

The Arden is very dated, but the rooms are clean and the staff are all friendly and helpful. I stay in the $93 per night rooms which are on the second floor (no lift). The rooms are small but have a tiny kitchen area with microwave. $93 includes a breaky of cornflakes, plain toast, raisin toast (bread is in the...

Honestly I can't remember how many times I've stayed at Arden Street Motel. I always stay there! For people from Adelaide it's a bit like you never left South Australia if you look at number plates in the parking lot. Why am I return visitor? The rooms are totally adequate for a motel, the shower is to die for, a...

Stayed recently with my father and brother to celebrate my father's birthday. Room ok, bed comfortable, shower sensational. Parking is cramped . We enjoyed the many pubs in the area before heading into the city to watch the Saints beat the cats......a $12 cab ride. I love this area, so close to everything . We paid $150 for a triple...

This motel as other reviewers have mentioned, likely had its last renovation in 1982. Its a single level above hostel accommodation. If you are visiting the CBD or Melbourne attractions for a night or two, do yourself a favour & pay extra $30 for somewhere nice. If you have a relative visiting RMH for appts, then definitely consider this motel....
