Very personalised service with a Boutique Sartorial feel. Love the elegantly designed room with a contemporary approach. Located just near the central business district and is accesible to Carlton, Fitzroy and Collingwood. Will definitely come back!

First time we have stayed with Zagames and we will definitely be returning. From the minute you push the intercom to let you into the car park to check-in we were looked after. Food was spot on the room with all its quirky extras was super I cant rate this place highly enough. Well done we will be back.

Hi Lisa, Thanks so much for the rave review! With more and more guests returning each week, it is very re-assuring to get this type of feedback to know we are still delivering the same high standards as we were before all 'this' began. I hope we get to see you again soon. Take care, Adam

Excellent experience at Zagame's house during 2 weeks. A very warm greeting and a very friendly staff. The room was cosy with an incredible bed (probably the best I have ever tried) and an elegant bathroom. There is also a very modern GYM with brand new equipment. Very useful after a long day of work. I used the room service quite often and the food is very qualitative as well. I am travelling every month to Melbourne for work and definitely choose this hotel for my next trip.

The Travelmints team has a much loved rabbit member, BonBon, and when we heard that Zagame's House catered for pets, we had to go and check it out. The hotel is located in Carlton, just outside the city on Lygon Street, so it's perfect for someone who's visiting from either the country or interstate, and want to spend time with their furry friends. Walking into the main area, you'll notice a communal kitchen and lounge area, as well as the check-in. They've gone for a modern-chic/modern-art style, with purple couches, purple and pink artwork and a range of different sculptures. Amenities included a decent-sized gym, as well as a study area in our room. They also catered for BonBon, with a lot of effort put into making the experience great for him. The room has a coffee machine and coffee pots, as well as a mini-bar and wine rack, so you're sorted for refreshments. You can also get food ordered to the room, if you want a cozy night in. On BonBon's bed, they set up a little loveheart, chocolates and balloons. There were also bowls for BonBon, and all in all the hotel was set up to be very functional for pets. We loved that there weren't many cables lying around for a cheeky pet to chew through! The food was good, and we ate at the hotel and in our room. If you eat at the hotel, try the chicken, it was absolutely delicious! The restaurant and wine bar are pet-friendly, so you can take your furry friend along too. We'd love for there to be more light in the main interior space, and it'd be nice if they had a kennel service or somewhere to leave your pet when you go out for the day. Apart from that we loved everything about Zagame's House, and it's a great place to take your pet for a vacation together!

My husband booked this absolute gem for a weekend away without our kids. We felt utterly spoilt. Every single detail of this hotel is absolutely stunning. The staff were all incredible. We felt so welcome. The first night we ate dinner and had delicious cocktails in the Lord of Lygon restaurant attached. It has such an impressive wine list and delicious food. The next morning breakfast was OMG so yum. And again, the staff just make it! The art on the walls and installations on the outside make this a truely boutique hotel experience. I really want to come back for my 40th in Aug as I know it would feel super special here. The fittings in the room felt so luxurious. Way beyond the price we paid for the room. The beds are so comfortable and the body wash, shampoos and soaps are so very generous and amazing quality. They have thought of absolutely everything. There's a seriously well equipped gym as well which is rare in hotels, they are usually very lame. Also we were heading to a wedding on the sunday and I needed a safety pin for the front of my dress and the staff at reception helped me no worries. I cannot rave about this enough. I haven't felt this excited to be at a hotel since my honeymoon. just WOW 💜🎉💜 I can't wait to come back!
