My wife and I have a very hectic life style, what with work, renovations to our house and property , and grand children, we don't have much time to catch up with each other. So it was great to not have to drive any where and just relax.

It was pretty good, the average expected service of a hotel in Melbourne but with lots more room. I stayed on Wednesday and Thursday which turned out to be pretty quiet which was wonderful. I had the breakfast buffet both days and well, if you're fussy then I wouldn't recommend it. It was a good bite but that's it, nothing...

Very clean, neat, tidy and spacious. Staff friendly and professional. We wanted to have a drink downstairs before going out, but it appeared the bar was never open when we were ready to go out, so that's something they could improve on.

From the moment you step into the Hotel to the day you checkout, the team was amazing. Customer Service was warm, friendly and professional. They all went out of their way to make our experience great. From the Manager through to wait staff they all did an amazing job. Thank you so very much. I will be coming down again...

We enjoyed our few days at the Mantra. All the boxes ticked. Friendly service, great location walking distance to the shopping. We found the rooms very spacious and lovely and clean. The Resturant served nice food.

Great little hotel but charging for Internet use let it down. Seriously - why would you? Bar food wasn't great either. However - location was fab and rooms clean. Probabley a bit overpriced for what you offer staff were good so you can get away with it.

Hotel staff were very helpful, they were always smiling, great for info and directions, the room was enormous! We stayed in a studio and it was the size of an apartment! Great location, would 100% stay again!

Great location My suggestion is to get a room at the back of the hotel the reason being that the rubbish collection truck driver must be in training for the F1. As his rate of acceleration & the noise he made he thought he was a F1 driver.

Good. Very helpful and friendly staff. No hassles. Kitchen could be slightly cleaner but rooms were great size. Carpet slightly old. Comfortable beds. Would recommend to colleagues. Close to office. Would stay again.

Great breakfast with fresh juices and smoothies and got fresh poached eggs, all staff very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfy and had good pillows. We arrived early so they kept our bags and when we came back from shopping our bags ere in our rooms

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
