Beautiful rooms, although some of the larger suites need an update. The bar is pretty good for a quick drink, and its a stones throw from Longrain and other top restaurants. Onsite parking is pretty expensive. Join their priority program and book direct to get the best rate and earn free nights.

First time in this hotel and a Black PGR member. The hotel refurb of the ground floor and restaurant is great. Sadly it seems to stop there and the rooms are old and very average. Stained carpet and marked walls, very dirty windows and noisy air con system. And what may well be Australia's smallest bathroom (albeit well designed for...

Dear Nathan, Thank you kindly for your recent review of your stay with us. I apologise your feedback upon departure was taken so lightly, as you indicate quite rightly- good service in our restaurant and all outlets for that matter is essential. Walked, was early for the meeting so went to the restaurant. Delightful person checking people through. I only needed a coffee and it was out within 5 minutes or less with a smile. Later three of us had a meeting, the house music was a bit loud and the waiter delivering our coffees accommodated turning it down for. Excellent service....

The service provided at this hotel was excellent. We requested an early check in as our flight arrived very early in the morning. When we arrived to the hotel our room was ready to go. When booking, we asked for a room on a higher floor as to get a good view - they were very accommodating to this and...

I haven't stayed in Melbourne CBD previously but this would have to be the best value going. Excellent location on Exhibition St at the beginning of Bourke St and Little Bourke St so just a stroll to the restaurants and shopping. Easy walking to the sporting venues, Fed Square and the NGV. For trips further afield there's a cab rank...

The check in and service throughout the entire stay was faultless. All staff friendly, professional and so helpful. We used to stay here often and came back after two years due to a great deal but I was disappointed after two years to see whilst foyer has new carpet those same old daggy chairs are there. Hallway carpets are quite...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Locals know that Chinatown is the tried and true place to eat before hitting the nightclub scene. The place simply buzzes, and the well-preserved buildings exude a sense of Imperial China stemming from immigration over a century ago. In restaurant after restaurant on Little Bourke Street, you'll find delicious dishes such as sizzling honeyed prawns, and value for your money. Stately matrons oversee family kitchens serving up age-old recipes. The lighting may be unromantic, the patrons loud, and the service no-nonsense, but the food is sensational.
