Fine on the whole if you are after somewhere close and cheap to Childrens Hospital but clearly in need of major refurb. . Friendly service on check in and out. Was not offered free wifi as loyalty member so came back down to ask for it. Offered booked breakfast at discount. Friendly service for breakfast. I asked for free late...

I've stayed at the Mercure North Melbourne a number of times for work and wasn't very happy with my stay this time. The whole hotel smells of paint/turps as they are doing renovations on some rooms and corridors at the moment. The bathroom in my room was very small and there was no bench space at all at the basin...

Having read previous reviews I was not sure what to expect, but it was not that bad,. The hotel is more than adequate, the staff were friendly and helpful , though the carpet was a bit tired. Bed was firm and comfortable. The bathroom was below our expectations. On the positive side they got beautiful ,nice and tidy restaurant at the...

Perfect location when needing the Women's Hospital just a short walk. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. When taking a shower the water does go over the top of the glass and wet the bathroom floor and counter. The room felt spacious and wasn't noisy. Staff were friendly and accommodating, especially with car parking and not knowing the discharge time...

I stayed over night, decent little room, as described. Bathroom appears to have had a recent make over. Hotel in general is a bit tired looking but provides a comfortable stay at a decent rate. Staff were friendly. Covered parking at an OK rate. I didn't eat at the hotel cafe but they made decent coffee. Lots of little places...

I wasn't sure about staying at this hotel after reading some of the reviews online. Overall it was certainly average, although I wouldn't go so far to say that it was as terrible as some suggest. I've stayed in plenty of worse accommodations before. The place had a motel style feel about as opposed to a hotel. Certainly the place...

Thought I was in a country town. Place was like a time warp from the 1970's. Room was small, very basic and definitely well past needing upgrading. Bathroom was ok but was also in need of upgrading. The only thing that looked like it had been done to the room this millenium was a flat screen TV and Wifi.
