Alias this hotel was nothing like I expected. First impressions were of the red linen bags lining the hotel corridor - At 5:30pm! Then I walked into my room, and it stunk horribly of someone's body odour. 1st room change immediately. I was switched to the room next door. Then this room had the window open, which wouldn't close. The...

I stayed here again recently, only because I was in Melbourne on business and working in the adjoining street. I previously stayed about a year ago - and sadly not much has changed. The location is great - if you need to be in Nth Melbourne or have close access to the Royal Melbourne or Children's hospitals - but other...

Stayed at this location for one night, this hotel is a disgrace to the Accor brand, i cannot believe this hotel is rated 4 stars. The lift when you arrive is a scary experience in itself, clearly made some time last early last century... The room was basic, TV didnt work and the bed wasnt overly comfortable...the bathroom was the...

A nice decent hotel with clean room. However, it is a little far off from the cbd, that made commuting to and fro from the cbd a little time-consuming. My room was facing the main road, that means traffic noise can be heard in the morning, but at night it was not a problem. The lift was small and old, as it...

Great location, just out of Melbourne, close to Melbourne Zoo and just a tram ride away from the centre of Melbourne. Needs a bit of refurbishment, carpet and bathrooms but this is reflected in the price so we are happy with the good accommodation rate. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. This is one of the last remaining city hotels...

I would like to add to my previous review how management resolved the issue within 24hrs,this room has been closed and renovations for the hotel are to be carried out in a few months. Good on Mecure, but the room should not of been used

Overnight stay in superior room, but the bathroom was dreadful. The tiles had been painted, the hand basin cracked, black marks all around on the grout and in the corners a build up of dust. The carpet may have been vacuumed but there was still a lot of bits on it. The bed was needing replacement, but that may of been...

Great value, opposite Royal Children's Hospital and on a tram line to the CBD. Easy to find and access, not far off the freeway and has a reasonable car park. The hotel is part of the Accor group so often has special offers.

Stayed at Mecure North Melbourne for 2 nights. Room was pretty average but not the worst I have stayed in. Age of hotel is fairly old , but guess I cant really complain to much as the prices were quite low. Good hotel to stay in if your going out a lot.

Travelled to Melbourne for PAX in November this year with my partner. This was sort of a working trip that was organised at the last minute, so many options were out for us, not to mention the costs were high (we had to pay our own) during that weekend. I have an accor membership and decided to utilise it too....
