We book 3 rooms 2 x 1 bedroom apartments and 1x 2 bedroom apartment. All were dirty, our 2 bedroom apartment was not really 2 bedroom and stank of carpet cleaner, was noisey and the bathroom had gross mould everywhere, hairs and whiskers everywhere. I...More

Unfortunately we're unable to control the City's rubbish collection but we are pleased we were able to fulfill all other requests. Sorry to hear that you had a disappointing stay in Melbourne.

We have stayed a few times now. With kids first time and friends this last time. Rooms were clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. Close to all the great Restaurants and shopping. Lindsay on reception was helpful with local information.

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air
of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
You can expect some noise as its in the heart of the city which is out of any hotel operating in the MELBOURNE CBD. Some apartments have double glazes windows and some on the higher floors. You can request your preference... More

Last year we were very happy in Apartment 1208 on the twelfth floor. This year we were lower down on the seventh floor on the opposite side of the building and it was still quiet. We enjoy staying at this property because it is so central.
