Not sure what people are saying about no atmosphere? We loved this hotel and will be returning :) We stayed here on a Saturday night, 24/7 reception, helpful friendly staff, pleasant experience. Also, plenty of powerpoints which was handy.

Besides the good bedding and clean bathroom there was nothing else inspiring about our room. It was about as basic as it could be with absolutely no atmosphere and very, very small. We didn't require a lot of space for one night but I might have been looking elsewhere if I had to stay any longer. Far too expensive for...

We stayed one night . The room was clean but very small . The staff at reception were helpful and pleasant . The room had one chair and a lounge chair that was broken . I don't think I would like to stay there more than over night . It served the purpose but for the price it really wasn't...

I used to stay here when it was the Sky Loft apartments. But people call it what it is- a student accommodation/ student residence/ dormitory etc. I've attached 2 pics. One was the view out the front door, one the view out the window. The view out the window was quite nice and watching the crane driver do warm up...

Small and a bit discreet entrance. Simple and helpful staff service but very clean and efficient room. I had the Studio Room with city view, not really a good view of the city. Very clean and decent size room and bathroom. Pleasant stay but forgettable.

Pokey entrance and no lobby. The first impression is reminiscent of a cheap, old Euro hotel. Rooms are small. Clearly, this building has been repurposed into a very ordinary hotel. During my visit the property was surrounded by noisy, dusty construction sites. Incredibly, it seemed to be fully booked. Never again.

Rooms are very modern and fresh. Well-located within the city as you are only two minutes away from the market where you can then hop on the trams (free if you're staying within the CBD too!). Only thing stopping me from giving it the full 5 is that the hotel Wi-Fi is not free unless you are a member of...

The rooms are small and basic which is fine if you are only staying for a couple of days - there are better options nearby though including the Ibis two doors down. There is a reception but no lobby and all 'facilities' are on the 9th floor so again this is pretty basic. The rooms are only on the 9-12th...

Perfectly located across from Queen Vic markets, we bought groceries and were able to make meals with the kitchenette which was a nice bonus. Staff super friendly and helpful! Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
