Everything about this place was great except for the shower. I rate it as poor because the shower is the most important part of the stay. For the amount of money paid you would think they could install better shower heads. The water sprays outwards...More
This hotel would have to rate as the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Thumping music all night until 6am from night club on ground floor and basically laughed at as they give a half hearted apology for the noise. No wonder they need...More

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air
of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
Trouble is we booked over the phone and "someone" forgot to tell us, and if you were there on the week end and not at the nightclub then maybe you left your hearing aids at home, seriously 2 floors above doof doof music, you... More
Trouble is we booked over the phone and "someone" forgot to tell us, and if you were there on the week end and not at the nightclub then maybe you left your hearing aids at home, seriously 2 floors above doof doof music, you can't not hear it and as I said the bed was moving (and no funny remarks cause there was nothing going on except doof doof two floors down)
