Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with family of 5 (3 kids) and was an amazing place. Perfect location, right near market and could walk to everything but far enough away to be relaxing as well. Great pool and even has cinema room you can book. Staff were so friendly and helpful and went out of way to help us...

With an amazing location, close enough to trams should you wish to take that, or walking into the city, Milano has and always will be my preferred choice whenever I stay in Melbourne city. The rooms come with cooking facilities as well as cleaning facilities so you don't have to travel to a laundromat or use a shared laundry space....

Positives: Clean and generally quiet. 25m pool (only really wide enough for 2 doing laps but open 6 to 22). Good location. Negatives: a bit smelly....I guess from what previous guests cooked. WiFi free but drops out very very often. Makes sure you get an email of how to access if arriving after hours.

The location is fabulous - quiet, but close to everything. When we entered our room, it reeked of cigarette smoke in spite of the entire property being smoke-free. We requested a room change, which was handled quickly and pleasantly. Our apartment was modest in size but perfectly fine for our 2-day stay. It had everything we needed and was scrupulously...

Stayed for a month at the Milano Serviced apartments in an executive one bedroom suite. The room had basic cooking facilities such as cooktop, appliances and utensils as well as a washer/dryer. It is centrally located, with Melbourne central station just a few minutes walk away. Great places to eat and shop nearby. Servicing of the apartment was done only...

The location of this place is great central to everything and the tram stop is a stone throw away. A little disapointing that the appartments are not serviced on weekends and we were not advised only when we asked about our towels. How ever the rooms were well presented and clean the staff were friendly and happy to give us...

Milano serviced apartments is in a fantastic position 1/2 a block from trams, a 5 min walk from Melbourne Central shopping centre an Aldi supermarket next door and a ANZ atm also. Milano serviced apartments have a awsome 12 person heated spa, a waist deep lap pool wich is not heated, a generously equiped gym and a cinema. The rooms...

Excellent location, very close to Vic Market where we had lunch and close to CBD. Has indoor pool, gym and tennis courts so something for everyone. Room nice size and comfortable although bathroom a bit dated. Service was excellent and good value

As is usual with this type of accommodation, a sleeping area, small kitchen, bathroom, clothes washing facilities and a micro lounge are crammed into a small space. It might be too cramped for an extended stay but it is ideal for a night or two and, because it lacks all of the paraphernalia associated with hotels it is more affordable...

stayed at the Milano serviced apartment in a executive 2 bd room apartment and it was absolutely crap. Lets begin, there was stains and groats on the walls, the main very small t.v in the small lounge did not work, the oven did not work only to find the managers disengaged the main switch, there was wood rot every where...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
