not a bad choice for the budget traveller, the hotel was located at the centre of the city, in front of the block arcade and luxury shopping centre (david jones etc.), it is only 10 min away from the railway station and federation square and 15min (est.) to the Victoria market. very convenience since the restaurant, groceries shop, supermarket, 7...

Always reliably clean and tidy, staff are helpful. Have stayed quite a few times and is great if you are on a budget and need a very central location (near Flinders St station and various places to eat).

The hotel was not bad but big whole in wall. Bathroom was too small but room was overall good. Location was good in the centre of the city. Room was clean but the corridors and the walk ways look like a place from a horror movie.

Hi ImranK, thank you for taking time out to write a quick review. Just so every one can be aware, as part of our environmental program we have timers on our hallway lights. When it's busy 5am to 11am & 5pm to 11pm the place is lit up like a Christmas tree! Outside these hours we drop off to half...

The overall quality of the room was poor. I know it was cheap but never again. In the future I will pay the extra $30-40 a night that has a room with some facility of hanging your close and ironing facilities in the room.Servicing the room the sheets where just pulled back and no soap was left.

Hi D.R, thanks for the review, really appreciate your taking the time. People might assume I wouldn't be happy to get a review called "never again". They would be dead wrong. This is an awesome review. Please note everyone - this hotel may suit you and your specific needs this trip, but it may not. We are not everyone's cup...

Found this hotel to be fine you get what you pay for. We stayed over night the wife and I plus our two kids. The rooms where small but clean and comfortable, bed was comfortable, shower was hot. Would recommend somewhere with bigger rooms if you where on a family holiday for longer than a few days. No parking available...

Hi wyldfamilytravel, so nice to get your feedback, thanks for sharing with others. Parking can be an issue for us, lucky you where here on the weekend when the Galleria (a wilson car park) has their weekend flat rate, as they charge $20 per hour during the week! Note to anyone travelling with a car, we don NOT have a...

Average at best. If only looking to sleep and that's it might be ok. No comforts or tea/coffee facilities. Entrance smells terrible constantly. Good location but that's about where it stops.would not recommend.

I arrived a little early but was allowed for early check in (about 1/2 hour) and was upgraded to the Family Room even though it was only just me, I was in room 711. Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
