My husband & I spent nine nights @ this supposedly '5 star' resort recently. Sadly it didn't live up to expectations. The impression given by staff was that everything was a hassle- including & esp. guests! From our experience we could not recommend Kimberley Sands.

The hotel has a very attractive front vista and very helpful check-in staff (desk is open from 7 am to 9.00 pm); the location is very quiet and peaceful, about 15-20 minutes walk from Cable beach. The town bus stops a hundred metres up the road. Restaurant facilities are very nice, with good food and drinks, albeit expensive. From the...

The resort is located an easy walk from Cable Beach and a short bus ride to Broome town centre. The setting is very pleasant with a large pool and several smaller plunge pools and a meditation area. Try and get a room on the 2nd floor for sunrise and sunset if you do not mind stairs.

This place was just so good.we took this as a Luxury Escape package and were a bit worried we might have been treated as second class citizens. Not at all. We were upgraded to a terrific room with separate lounge area kitchen plus outside courtyard. Heaps of space. Food in house was excellent and we treated ourselves to a couple...

The location of the resort was perfect for my mum and I as it was only a short walk to Cable beach. I loved the private adults pool as it was a 'quiet' area and was exactly what I needed. I think the resort would benefit from providing services like free airport shuttle or town shuttle. I would have liked...

Living in the region I came to Broome to a bit of a break and to relax away from work. The hotel satisfied this but there were just a few small things that stopped it being 5-starts. 1. The curtains do not go all the way to the floor, so even if you want a sleep in the sun gets...

We stayed at the Kimberley Sands during our move from the East Kimberley to the Pilbara. It was during March so we benefited from cheap room rates due to it being the end of the wet. The hotel is impressive and seems well laid out. The food (we had dinner and lunch) in the restaurant were very good. Our room...

Just returned from a week at KS Usually I stay at CBC or the Mangrove, so this was a first for me at KS, and I was really impressed. Firstly the rooms are a lovely size and really bright ( as much as I love CBC, the rooms are very dark, and the bathroom/ combined wardrobe area, really small. There...

This is a genuine 5 star resort! The rooms are absolutely beautiful, with all of those little touches that add to your stay. All rooms have a courtyard or balcony - we had a room overlooking the pool area - very relaxing. All of the amenities are excellent (pool, restaurant, etc.). Staff are very friendly and so helpful - nothing is...

We are a family of 4, 2 kids 14 and 10. We've just returned from 8 days at the KS and couldn't recommend it more. We opted for the 2 bed roomed suite which was modern, clean and spacious. The added bonus was a small plunge pool right outside our door in a beautiful quiet courtyard shared by 4 other...
