Only place in Broome we could stay with our sons Therapy Assistance Dog. The expensive price does not match the accommodation quality supplied. Frankly, I would never stay here again. I personally would have rather have slept in my car.

We booked this location due to being pet friendly. And boy are they! The pets are not allowed everywhere, but they are well accommodated. We originally had a campsite and chalet, but just ended up using a chalet. The ablution facilities are great and clean and well maintained. The website of this location does not do it justice. It is...

We stayed at the Gateway in July 2016. The positives: The best and cleanest facilities we have ever come across. Plenty of washing machines, clean showers and toilets. An open fire and large fire pit to sit around. Large camp and caravan sites. Not crowded one upon the other. Good prices. We had two adults, a teenager and two dogs...

Our site was close to the ablution block and we had plenty of space to pitch our tents. The facility is powered by solar and is situated 30 km from Broome so it is much less crowded than city parks. This means no noise other than wake up calls from the local birds. The ablution blocks were very clean and...

A lovely stay, friendly staff, all the amenities you need. We enjoyed our time here. This was the only dog friendly park in the whole of the Broome area. We always travel with our 2 large well behaved dogs & this dictates where we go. We were made welcome here. There were grassed, fenced runs for the dogs to burn...

Stayed 4 nights and really liked the place. At $30 a night the price was excellent. The park is plenty big and a big plus for me is that it is quiet. The site we got was massive and only a short walk to the showers, camp kitchen and toilets. Most of the sites are dirt but we had a...

We stayed 3 days there in summer. Bloody hot but the owner allowed us to use genie at night for the aircon. Only a couple of campers there at the time. Fairly basic but the price was right for toilet/shower and water on tap. No power but quiet park not too far from town. We would go back.

A great place for family with or without dogs. Shame about the campers who uses generators and don't respect other campers. We loved the camp fire events and the warm welcome from the staff. We will be back!

We chose Gateway because they take pets, we loved it because the sites are spacious, the facilities are excellent and the staff are wonderful. We stayed for three nights on our way up to Kununurra and enjoyed it so much we stayed for a week on the way back. People need to be aware that there is no power (the...

We had to bring out dog with us on this trip and we're delighted to fine a great spot with huge bays, space between campers created by sensible allocation, a huge dog run and a friendly atmosphere. The ablutions are clean, spacious and well thought out by being unisex (loo, shower, change space all in the one big cubicle). Great...
