Travelling solo around Australia I have found the Visitors Information Centres to be a fantastic help to me - except when I came upon the one in Perth. The girl who asked what I wanted stood impatiently beside me with folded arms. I suggested that we have a seat as I had just arrived in Perth and needed to discuss...

This is an old hotel which has been nicely restored so I am giving it a very good overall rating because of this but also because of it's location. It is close to shopping malls, restaurants & public transport. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit. One recommendation would be a door to close off the second bedroom or at...

It was certainly a wise decision to go for Royal Hotel.. it was our first visit to Australia.. location is great..right in front of railway station.. metro, bus also nearby.. next to hotel is a small mall which has good number of eating options + Coals Supermarket.. sleep quality great...common bathroom could only be a problem for some but still...

Lunch last week. Couple of champagnes, the mussels were lovely and came with fresh bread, chips nice. Great way to spend a couple of hours watching the cricket. Staff pleasant and food arrived very quickly.

+ve: The room was very comfortable. The shared bathrooms were clean. Security was excellent. It is very close to the Perth Railway Station, and the malls. It is within walking distance to other places in the city too. -ve: The receptionist didn't seen to like my staying there. I felt unwelcome. I would have left had I not booked it...

Our last trip in PERTH was a bit horrible at THE ROYAL HOTEL. 1. The reception wasn't not open on Saturday and Sunday! They should notify us early, so that we didn't drag all our bags all the way to nearby hotel upon check in. 10 minutes walking along the pedestrian walkway cos we parked our car to the nearby...

Right in the middle of the city, this hotel is a very good base to explore downtown Perth. We arrived a little bit late so we had to went to another affiliated, nearby hotel for check in. There's no lift avail, only stairs. Our room was large and comfortable, with a limited view of the street because the verandah was...

The hotel is centrally located and convenient for the city centre. The check in after 5:00pm is at the Comfort hotel the road before (on the same block) but not opposite as advised. It's a bit dated and no lift but it's a wide easy staircase. As the front door is locked visitors will have to phone you to be...

This place is far from a hotel, rooms are filthy dirty.. I mean filthy. The reception wasn't even open. Bathrooms were a disgrace. I would call this place a hostel. (And not even a nice hostel) I have seen better hostels! The next morning at 5:30am we were woken up to music blaring under are room. I rang reception from...
