We stayed here for a week in March and on many fronts it was disappointing. The Westin in Perth is a far better hotel and would consider that over the Ritz next time I stay. We had an issue with strong sewerage smell in our room and heard other guests had same issue. The neighbouring construction is also not great so be careful of the room you choose. The pool was in the shade for much of the day and when we tried to use the pool during a weekday afternoon it was closed for cleaning. We thought we’d just relax but the staff just stood around talking and we left after 20 minutes despite being told there was service. The cleaning in the room was also not great - black mould in the bathroom grout; hairs on the carpet and sheets not changed for 3 days; scuff marks on floor; rubbish in the hallway not vacuumed for the whole week we were there. Overall the experience was very unusual for a 5 star hotel so dont feel you get what you pay for here - its not the ‘Ritz’.

My husband and I recently stayed for 10 nights whilst we renovated our apartment. The customer service from the entire team at RC Perth was world class. Due to Covid, there were shortened hours of some of the outlets and services (including the Executive Club) but the team made sure every detail and our needs during our stay was met with kindness, absolute professionalism, and genuine world class service. We would like to mention a couple of people who really made our stay special. Firstly Shane, Tanya and Vicky in Hearth and Hearth Lounge and Fraser from Songbird, you are all absolute assets to Marriott and we can’t thank you enough for making our stay so enjoyable. A special mention for the delightful Valarie and the whole team from In-Room dining for taking care of us during our stay! To the leadership team, Dario, Stephanie, François, Lauren and Kade, our sincere thanks. To the whole team, you made a very stressful 10 days of dealing with tradespeople and absolute breeze due to welcoming us end making us feel so welcome. If anyone is thinking of staying at The Ritz Carlton Perth, we highly recommend it. Thank you ladies and gentlemen of Ritz Carlton Perth, we have enjoyed every bit of our stay. We look forward to our next stay. Regards Brad and Rob Bell

Every feature that could possibly go into making premium five star hotel experience has been carefully thought through and beautifully executed at the Ritz Carlton Perth. Some highlights of our room included a very large bathtub, a convenient open wardrobe and electric curtains. RCP’s Elizabeth Quay location provides excellent views either over the Swan River or across the city. The restaurant district of Northbridge is about a 15 minute walk away through the centre of town. Hearth restaurant on the ground floor serves and excellent breakfast however with the Covid slowdown in business travel Hearth’s operating hours are limited. This is not a problem as there are plenty of excellent restaurants within easy walking distance including the excellent Six Senses Thai which is only a 100m stroll from the hotel. The manager of the Ritz Carlton Perth Gopu Nayar and his staff will make you feel very welcome. Highly recommended.

Normally in Perth we head to the Crown but that has gone downhill. First stay at the Ritz and very impressed, great location, great service and perfectly placed for the city restaurants. We will be back.

The Ritz Carlton Perth is a fantastic new hotel ( 1.6 years old ), located in the centre of Perth. You cannot ask for a better location for getting around Perth, easy walking to beautiful locations. The room we stayed in was excellent with awesome views and ammenities. The fine dining was a great experience made especially memorable by the excellent and very knowledgeable safe namely Thomas and Ella. Thank you both for taking such great care of us you guys made the experience incredibly memorable. The breakfast is very good but not great (selection compared to other 5 star hotels ) and some of the staff need to pay more attention to detail. I would again like to refer to two outstanding breakfast staff, namely the barrister ( excellent memory and attention to detail ) and Thomas again deserves another mention. Thanks for looking after us so well. On the whole great hotel and deserves a solid 4 star rating. Hope this helps Gregory Goes Travelling
