OMG what a night last night was (27 Feb). The hotel was packed with 175 children and 300 parents all playing t-ball on Langley Park. The noise and crowd in the hotel was insufferable. Everyone had a trolley filled with equipment and to get to our room it meant negotiating a packed lift area and extremely noisy foyer. The noise was extreme at the pool and with the room over looking the pool it meant a very very late night as the pool seemed to never shut. The room, despite paying $360 a night, was small, uncomfortable and lacking any water to drink. Room service was non-existent as was any contact by phone to anyone of use in the foyer. There seemed to be a complete lack of any form of authority in the office. Chaos!
Stayed here for one night. Rooms are a little tired and run down, but the beds are comfortable. Located in a quiet location, but an easy walk into the city. Ordered room service dinner and breakfast, and both were tasty and reasonably priced. Had a bit of a river view from my room which was nice. Hotel is reasonably priced, so was pretty good value for the money i paid.
stayed new years eve as a place to rest our head. nice hotel but could do with been refurbished. upon arrival we had to wheel our own bags to our room that took a long time as the trolleys weren't working very well. rooms were average but beds were small - rooms were big. views were not great. pool area was nice over looking the swan river. could do with a very good clean as their was dust everywhere and also needed vacuuming throughout the hotel. i would stay again if I was planning on going to the city but I wouldn't book out of the blue. breakfast was nice but needed more staff on as their was food running out fast and the lovely staff had to serve at the desk and also fill up the food. other than that was an average stay.
We booked this hotel accidentally thinking it was the crown casino on new years eve, so were disappointed in OUR mistake. However, the stay was good, staff so very friendly and allowed us to check in very early. It was very expensive I assume because it was NYE. Hotel seems a little rundown, but great location.
We spent 3 nights at Crowne Plaza for a Christmas getaway. On check in we were assisted by Jake? A very welcoming young man who assisted us with taking our bag to our room and gave us heaps of info about our stay ,nothing was to much trouble. The hotel is an older style hotel but priced accordingly.Room was clean and bed comfortable. Air con struggled but it was a series of 40 degree days. Room service was prompt and reasonably priced recommend the crowne burger -yum. Fantastic views of the swan river from the balcony and pool area. Breakfast was buffet and the food was lovely and fresh. Staff were working hard and polite and friendly. We had Christmas lunch and the food was wonderful and plentiful. The pool area was busy but we enjoyed watching the sunset and met some lovely people. Would highly recommend this hotel ! Thankyou for making our Christmas a relaxing getaway ! And make sure you look after and keep that young man on reception !…
