Enjoyed a 1 night stay in Club room with Swan River views. Appreciated the complimentary bottle of bubbly for hubby’s birthday celebrations. Canapés in the Club room were excellent, we enjoyed it very much & the staff were helpful & prompt with both food & beverages. Aircon was a tad cool- I would recommend a light cardigan or dressing to cover the shoulders. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the grill. I would say probably one of the better breakfasts we have had! Checked out the pool the following morning as was a warm & humid day but it was fully sheltered from the sun, was also a bit too chilly for me. All in all a great stay & we are looking forward to a return visit in a few weeks.

Well situated central hotel. Club rooms are spacious with good bedding, well appointed with a city view. Lovely toiletries. We stayed on the same floor as the Club lounge. Nice staff, good check in, we spent the days reacquainting ourselves with the city. We have always enjoyed the food at the Duxton and have enjoyed many lunches, weddings and Melbourne Cup Days with friends over the years. The food and restaurant service never disappoints. Breakfast and predinner drinks and hors d’oeuvres served in the Club lounge with a view across the Swan River. Wonderful! We had lunch at the Grill. Perfect stay. Highly recommended. Thankyou. We will definitely stay with you again.

Booked 2 nights in a Club Room for our anniversary (our son in tow). Impressed from the minute the foyer door was opened to us. We arrived over 3 hours early but were still allowed to check in by friendly and attentive staff. Huge room, well appointed. Beds were comfortable and housekeeping bent over backwards to help us when my wife discovered she had forgotten to pack our toiletries! Club room is outstanding value. Included a buffet breakfast which we have read is more limited that that in the foyer but still had ample choice. The canapes and drinks each night were so generous that we cancelled the dinner we had booked elsewhere. Nice touch to come back to our room with a personalised message wishing us Happy Anniversary and a bottle of bubbly chilling in our mini bar. We wore out the carpet going up and down the hallway to fetch multiple lattes from the Club Room coffee machine. Pool was chilly but nice for a quick dip. Gym was well stocked and was needed to wear off all the food we had eaten. Sauna and Steam room were lovely. Staff in the Club Room, Phoebe and Naji attended to our every need and we thanked them repeatedly for making our stay so memorable. We are going to book to come back!…

Absolutely loved our stay from start to finish. The staff are so friendly and welcoming . We had a deal including valet parking and breakfast. As we were celebrating our anniversary we had a lovely surprise when we arrived in our lovely clean room . They had put a bottle of sparkling wine in our room and a lovely card . The bed was comfortable and everything was spotless. The breakfast was great, plenty of choice and good quality. There is a great pub right opposite if you want a drink or food. Only one small thing the hotel could do with a few more seats around the pool as it got very full and not many seats . We did manage to get a seat after a while . My sister and I stayed for two nights on a Luxury Escapes package. The hotel is very clean. Great to walk into town. The breakfast was great and dinner at the Firewater Grill was exceptional. Lastly but certainly not least the staff - everyone we had to deal with was terrific a credit to the hotel.
