After reading all the recent reviews we were very dubious about staying here. However we were pleasantly surprised. Yes the hotel is old and quaint and yes it could probably do with being updated, yes the views from the room were of an alleyway but the hotel is located in the court district with lots of buildings around it so...

This hotel does have everything you need - a bed, a washroom, a mini-fridge. However, everything is incredibly outdated. There are tons of dings and chips in the walls, very old comforters, blankets and furniture. Our toilet didn't work (but was quickly fixed), and the shower head was falling off. It was totally fine for our needs as we weren't...

My wife and I booked into the Criterion Hotel in Perth for a two- night stay in August 2016. This is the high season for hotels in Perth, so we paid AUD 153.00 per night for this allegedly 3 star hotel with breakfast. The reception area was extremely shabby. The room we were given was even shabbier. There was one...

We booked through Booking.com and chose this hotel because we were being collected from there for a 9 day tour. Great central location and a good price for that BUT we were dismayed at the state of the rooms and public areas. This hotel was neglected and in poor decorative condition. Yes it was clean but that's about all I...

For a start the picture they are using is NOT the hotel! That's a bad start. The whole hotel needs updating. Wifi is next to useless. We only stayed there because we were being picked up from that location.

Room was average. Noted old mould areas that had been painted over. I had to ask for extra towels for night 2. The building is old, would benefit from a good renovation. Location is prime. Close to everything in the cbd and elizabeth quay. Staff very helpful. All in all 5/10 stay.

The room was smelly, the paint on the wall falling off, bad room cleaning service, homeless guys stay infront of hotel everyday, fighting on the next room that lasted for 1 hour then only hotel take action etc.. The hotel is just too old without good maintenance. Only good thing about this hotel is the location, location is superb. So...

Old but consider still comfortable room. Some of the hidden plug point (behind headboard) looks worn out as i relocated the bed position. The location is excellent next to the convenience stall where i always go convenience stall to buy foods and used their microwave to heat the foods. The cleaner did not wash our cup after we used where...

Recently visited Perth for a business trip and stayed here . The staff were very friendly but the facilities have seen better days. This place needs some serious money spent on it to bring it up to standard. Wifi extremely flakie to the point of not being able to use it for hours on end.
