Just loved staying here. Yes its small but it makes up for it with just being joyfully pleasant and beautifully designed and well though out and detailed. Common spaces are fantastic too! Wont regret staying here.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Alex hotel in Perth....great location, delightful staff, great accomodation - wonderful experience for an óld chook'like me! The staff could not have more helpful as I am unfamiliar with Perth locale - they provided me with maps and all I needed to navigate myself around.

Quick overnight business trip. Parking literally a few metres away, cost me $13 overnight secure parking. Pretty good for central city parking. Location bang in cultural/foodie precinct, very enjoyable. Staff friendly and helpful (including the night manager, who had obviously got up to check me out at 6am!). Street frontage seems about 2 bicycles wide, but there is a lift to all 6 floors. I did not have the opportunity to check out the ground floor guest café, 1st floor guest lounge, or rooftop lounge, alas. All looked fine from a quick glance. Room was small and minimalist, with a tiny private balcony. Cute. Nothing I didn't need, and only one thing lacking that I did need. I really need a table (even a small one) to use as a workspace. Otherwise very satisfactory.

Room Tip: Higher floors would be further from street noise, which would probably matter on Friday/Saturday...

A great place to stay. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. So central to everything. The only thing I missed was having a fridge but the staff happily gave us a bucket if ice. I would definitely stay here again. Make sure you visit the rooftop terrace. The night views are amazing.

Awesome location right in the Perth cultural precinct/Northbridge and a stone’s throw to the PICA bar. Nowhere to park easily nearby so don’t bring a car! Hotel has small rooms with some cool industrial features but rooms are very basic and a little bit grubby in placez. Open plan lounge/bar/reception area on the ground floor was pleasant and they have a bike hire which was cool. Not enough staff to manage people arriving/leaving and wanting service at the cafe. Queue of 5 or more people/couples trying to check out with just one woman obviously not coping so we left our keys in a box on the reception desk and they emailed me the final paperwork later that day.
