The Como Treasury is a luxury hotel, where every aspect of your stay will pass your expectations. The sparkling wine on arrival signified what a sensational experience we would enjoy over our 2 day stay. The bubbles in our room continued the care displayed by the hotel. The rooms are spacious and restful. Every meal, especially at the Wildflower Restaurant, were spectacular. We will certainly stay again in a couple of years when we have another milestone in our lives to celebrate.

I understand why so many people have good things to say about the Como. It’s a grand building and the rooms are excellent and whilst there was a couple of memorable moments they were far outweighed by all the little things that went wrong. Service pre, during and post visit was really hit and miss and unfortunately so was the food. Wildflower lived up to its reputation but that’s where it ended. Nothing major, everything little but after a while they all add up leaving you upset and feeling frustrated. At the end of the day we had an expectation that they simply didn’t meet, maybe next time if there is one.

I have stayed at 4 COMOs previously. What is consistent about the brand is the level of service you receive. COMO the Treasury was no different. Service - The front office staff are amazing. The check in process is perfect and everything is done with a smile. Whilst my requests were fairly basic, every request was met with a smile and a genuine desire to accomodate your request. The hotel is small and has old fashioned room keys. When I went out I would leave the key with reception. Every time I came back, my key was given to me without them having to interrupt another guest and without asking for my room number - yes they remembered me. Rooms - The rooms are large with spectacular bathrooms. Perfect for a longer stay. The hotel is small which makes for a lovely boutique experience. The gym is excellent and the pool is a great size especially considering hotel size. Neither ever seemed too busy. Restaurants - I have coeliac disease which often makes restaurants a challenge. I tried "Post", Long Chim and Wildflower. I had notified the hotel in advance of my allergies and all 3 commented as soon as I arrived. Wildflower was especially spectacular (as expected). Again the staff were outstanding as was the entire experience. Overall this was an amazing stay. It is expensive but it is great value for money - despite the high costs.

We stayed three nights over the easter long weekend. This is got to be Australia's best hotel from service, room design, facilities, restaurants. Where else in Australia do you get heated towel rails, free movies and a bathroom as big as your bedroom. The massage at Shambala Como is also one of the best. Call out to Marianne at front desk who is just wonderful and lovely. The breakfast is very very generous. I would rate this hotel 7 stars if it's possible.
