We loved staying at Albans Bed and Breakfast. Margaret and her husband are terrific hosts. You can see they enjoy having guests. Their home is beautiful and elegant. Initially we were going to spend just one night, but we ended up staying three. They were extremely kind to us. Their breakfast was good and healthy. Margaret loves tea, so she...

Highly recommended accommodation. Well priced for such a beautifully presented home. The hosts were very accommodating and extremely friendly. Good location to walk to shops or beach. Quiet street, well appointed room.

I had a fabulous weekend here and feel completely spoilt. The place is lovely and comfortable with everything I needed. The hosts were outstanding. Fantastic conversation, lovely food, even a car ride to the city and some help with clothing choices for a party. Margaret could not have been more acommodating and was incredibly interesting and uplifting to talk to....

We stayed as my husband was competing in the People's Choice Tri Series. It was a perfect location with fantastic accommodation and wonderfully relaxed hospitality. Would stay again without a doubt if we were back in the area. Thank you

Stayed 2 nights and had a wonderful large room with tea making facilities, Wifi and TV. Margaret and Geoff made us very welcome and the breakfast was great. Their information about the area, restaurants and getting into the city for our day trip to Waiheke Island made it all so easy. Will definitely stay here again. A quiet street with...

Albans B&B is an absolute delight - I stayed for three nights while I was doing the Lightening Process training. The level of care was 100% + - from the love and attention to detail that had clearly been lavished on the beautiful surroundings and interior of the house, to the warmth, caring and generosity that I experienced as a...

A short trip into the city if you wish but Mission Bay is such a nice place to relax and has plenty of quality restarants. Margaret and Geoff who own Albans are lovely and their accommodation and hospitality outstanding. Love my stays here.

My wife and I booked to stay here for two nights prior to,and at end of our tour of NZ in a rented camper van. Margaret and Geoff were only too happy for the van to be parked on the drive, and made us feel extremely welcome. The room was beautiful, comfortable, spotlessly clean and with a large comfortable bed....

We stayed with Margaret & Geoff our first night on a two week trip. It was by far the best accomodation we had the whole trip; fabulous very clean house, large rooms, great beds, and extremely gracious hosts. The location is great, close to Kelly Tarlton's and Mission Bay shops, but very quiet. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful, Margaret even...

“We stayed in the last room down the hall. Perfect! Extra tip: Go to the supermarket to buy some NZ goodies. It's within walking distance.”

“All the rooms are lovely. I stayed in the upstairs guest room, which is a third bedroom that is only let from time to time, particularly when there are people staying at the B&B to attend the Lightening Process training. Margaret and Geoff are very supportive of people who are doing this training and want to be able to accommodate as many participants as they can.”

“There were three rooms available. I suggest you choose by whether you want sun in the afternoon. The downstairs rooms have a bathroom on the same level. The top floor room (where I was) doesn't and you have to go downstairs but I thought it was a lovely room”
