This was our last hotel on our New Zealand coach tour with Grand Pacific. The rooms were of an average size and were clean with a room safety box. It is central to all the shops and resturants and the sea front. Good bar area and helpful staff.

Room was nice and tidy. Stayed only one night after going to Greenday concert. The beds are nice and soft. There wasn't much milk in the fridge if u like more than 3 hot drinks it's all gone, I like quite a bit of milk in my hot choccys. Friendly staff at front counter although there was only one person...

I have stayed at this Hotel on quite a few occasions. Being a Copthorne Hotel it is part of the Millennium Group (Kingsgate, Copthorne and Millennium Hotels). This Hotel in particular is quite old and starting to feel a bit tired. The rooms, although adequate are in need of a bit of an update (Copthorne Hotels are definitely more 3-4...

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in total and had an enjoyable stay there. Bed is very comfortable and the room in general has all amenities you could want. Very close to the city centre and you can easily walk around to take a look around. Close to many bars and restaurants as well as the famous Viaduct. All...

I first stayed here in 2015 and little changed in that time. The services is still very good and the dated decor is still...dated. The price for Internet usage is still exorbitant but not unlike many other hotels. It seems to be a popular spot for tour groups too. The breakfast options of cooked and continental are quite good but...

First come policy in car park which has limited spaces $10 pernight night but car park nearby with same rate I believe .Have to pay extra for WiFi in room....

Stayed here just one night. Read the reviews beforehand so weren't expecting anything amazing. Our room was a bit old and tired but perfectly adequate. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Didn't eat or drink in the hotel. Location was great for us - close to town for graduation. Would stay here again. There was a charge for wifi in...

Experienced a pleasant 10 days here during the World Masters Games. The room was small however the 2 double beds were extremely comfortable and we had everything we needed except perhaps another chair to sit on, but space was limited. We had a large walk in shower which was great however some other rooms had over bath showers that were...

Stayed in this hotel during the World Masters Games. The room was good, the staff were excellent and the bar and restaurant were ok. The only major drawback is that they charge for wifi, and even then there are download limits to it. Very annoying, but it is similar to a lot of hotels in NZ.

We stayed four nights with my husband in this hotel. The room was a bit dated, the bathroom was quite small but it was clean and homely, and the bed was super comfy- all you need when you are out and about all day. I would recommend to have breakfast somewhere in the city instead of the hotel, only because...
