Nice Hostel in central CBD BUT: worst beds I ever had in a backpackers! Not 31$ worth. Mattresses thin and soft so always feeling the wood of the beds. If you don't like sleeping on really hard beds don't come here! Even if manager was...More
A busy backpacker in a busy area, but kept clean and reasonably quiet. I was in a 8 beds-dorm, the space to store all the bags was fine, bunk-beds a bit shaky but confortable. The kitchen and living room are a nice place to meet...More
Have to say now.... I was very anxious to stay at this hostel from looking in from the outside but was fantastic hostel. Free wifi, doesn't work everywhere in the hostel but works well when you get it( best spots are kitchen, back lounge area)....More
While it may not be the best hostel in New Zealand that I've stayed at, it was located in a convenient part of Auckland. Right in the shopping district and close to really good restaurants, the location alone makes it worth it.

As Manon mentioned there is a free day storage for backpackers which is used generally for people checking out and wanting to leave their belongings for the day, or checking in and waiting to go into the rooms at 2pm. You can also leave valuables behind reception in safe which is manned 24 hours per day. In the rooms themselves, the premium dorm rooms have lockers in them, you would need to have your own padlock for them though.
