Really nice place to stay in Auckland. Staff very friendly. Allowed us to drop off luggage early so we could get to our Waiheke ferry on time. Had room 805 which was on the end and very quiet. Clean and spacious rooms. Huge showers. Comfortable bed. Careful stepping out of the shower as it is slightly higher than the floor. Very...

I love Ponsonby. I live in Wellington and if I want to go somewhere hip and centrally located I would recommend Ponsonby. It’s one of the closest inner city suburbs to the CBD. Ponsonby is like our Surrey Hills, Sydney or Notting Hill London or Haight Ashbury, San Fran. The gentrification is beautiful. Go for a stroll along Tole St...

Stayed there for 2 nights in Dec. A clean quiet place yet within walking distance from Queen Street. Room fully equipped with stove, microwave and cooking utensils. However sofa bed is not comfortable.

Stayed two nights at Abaco on Jervois, in Auckland. Room was more than adequate, the owner / manager very helpful and the location, while not within walking distance to major attractions, was close to transportation, several restaurants, bakery, banks, supermarket, etc. Free parking also available.

Stayed a night in one bedroom apartment on top floor. It had great views over marina and further to the port. The apartment was well equipped and clean. We chose it as there was free parking. The city centre is within easy reach by using the local buses as city CBD is so congested and has very limited parking. There...

I stayed here for 4 nights and the self contained rooms were immaculately clean and my bed was very comfortable. Being in town for a sailing event I enjoyed the 15-20 minute walk down and back to the marina. The motel was very convenient. Over the road is a great coffee shop that also did breakfast and i can also...

Hotel is in a good location for Auckland visitors if you don't mind walking only 1km to the main town waterfront. The area is full of cafe's, restaurants and small independent shops. There is no restaurant or breakfast at the Abaco. Our room 811 is noisy being near the road and a bit gloomy on the ground floor. The chair...

We could walk to Skywalk and yummy places to eat. Auckland has lots of traffic (and remember you are driving on the left side) so being able to walk or get on the bus line is very helpful. It was very quiet. Next door to gas and convince store so you can stock your mini fridge, have a cup of...

My mate and I stayed here again on our most recent trip to Auckland. Its in a great location to get to everywhere with great access to the motorway to the north and a few streets away for the motorway to the south. Service is always polite and friendly. Checking in and out is an easy process. Rooms are very...
