I stayed for three nights during a brief trip to the North Island. The whole experience was hassle-free. Basically after collecting the keys, you're left to your own devices. Only a couple of minor points to mention about the room: * In order to flush the toilet, it was necessary to manoeuvre the cistern lid each time so that the...

I reserved one of the apartments here for a three night stay from the 29th of December until the 1st of January. There were numerous issues with the room and my partner and I found it so intolerable that we told management we had a change of plans (although we had not), and left the apartment after one night, and...

Great location in centre but a bit of a climb uphill from Queen St. A bit scruffy overall and could do with a major spruce up. Weird to have office in a room on second floor. Room was clean enough apart from table surface which was glass and filthy. Bed hard but okay. Wouldn't recommend for a special occasion but...

A well priced and very central location near some great bars and places to eat. Found it a little strange in its set up that almost seemed unsafe. The building is built around a hollow gap all the way to the ground floor. This is only protected by a standard metal railing which at the 16th floor inspires vertigo and...

The only reason I give this place one star is because zero star is not an option. My wife cried when she walked in to this room. Everything looked like 1970s, good place if you are after a haunted experience.

The room was clean and tidy with modern furnishings. I stayed in the studio apartment and it was a good size for 1-2 people. it had a self contained kitchen and small balcony. The lobby is deceiving as it is a bit tired. Air conditioning didn't work but it was a cool night so not a problem. Overall for the...

The stairwell looked like the inside of a prison, the service was dreadful. We were told our room would be ready by 1pm - went to the room at 1.30pm and the bed was unmade and no housekeeping had been done. Bathroom was disgusting - mould on the walls and ceiling, hairs on the walls and paint peeling off everywhere....

Look, you pay $150 in the CBD at the time of major events you can't expect much. And, you'd get what you paid for. The property is dirty and scruffy but a good location and very cheap. On balance, it's ok value but don't go for a special occasion as shown but the photos. I'd recommend booking a car park...

I've just stayed one night! Nevertheless was the worst experience. The bed was awful if my husband moved just one millimeter I will move also... crazy night couldn't sleep! Also very noisy hostel. The only good thing is the location near the center.

Stayed here at the beginning and end of our New Zealand trip. The first room was cleanish and comfortable. Very basic. The second room was disgusting. The shower had some sort of orange growth, curtains were ripped and falling off the tracks. The furniture was worn, stained and probably came from an Op shop! Killed 6 cockroaches in 2 days....
