Excellent location in the heart of Auckland. If you don't mind that there is no real reception area, uncovered light fixtures, peeling paint, shoddy door handle, no air conditioning, the room is very small but clean and bed comfortable. Top floor was very quiet.
Awesome place to stay, restaurant had amazing food, staff super helpful and friendly, room was neat and tidy and the place has amazing character! Not much parking around the hotel so ideal for those without a car but we managed just fine :) loved it
Great location to walk to the arena to see cat Stevens. clean and tidy although a little noisy due to current roadworks. A unique experience!! A great pub in its time although a little tired at present. Staff professional and helpful

I parked a car overnight in a nearby multi storey carpark. I had read bad reports of the Wilson group of car parks (in addition to locals warning me off!) so I used the one that you access through a hotel (struggling to remember name right now!) also in Albert Street... Not sure it would take a campervan. Charges for cars overnight reasonable ... as long as you collect car early next morning!
Street parking charges were expensive by comparison...
